The National Museum of the US Air Force will hold an Oval of Honor presentation on June 21st at 6 pm to honor these Vietnam veterans for their exemplary service. There will be a showing of a segment of Ken Burns’ Vietnam documentary in conjunction with the presentation and a reception before the event, all of which are open to the public. Various aircraft will also be on display, including the infamous “Hanoi Taxi,” that brought Vietnam P.O.W.’s home.
Each year the Fold Oval of Honor program recognizes common individuals who have demonstrated an uncommon commitment to serve and defend this country. Ford dealers in the Dayton region created this program to honor sacrifice, courage, and valor.
