DAYTON, OH (April 11, 2018) — Cox Media Group Ohio is elated to announce that they have received a Crystal Radio Award, presented to WHKO-FM(K99.1FM) by the National Association of Broadcasters at the 31st annual Crystal Awards in Las Vegas.

This great honor was bestowed upon WHKO-FM for their commitment to community service and, out of 50 finalists and hundreds of applicants, CMGO was the overall winner in the Medium Market radio station category.

“K99.1FM is honored to be able to tell the Miami Valley that we have received the coveted Crystal Award, an honor earned by organizations for their community service. Only ten radio stations in the nation received this prestigious award and recipients were chosen by a panel of judges representing the broadcast industry, community service organizations and public relations firms.
