DAYTON, OHIO (December 16, 2017) – Cox Media Group is excited to announce that Dayton radio veteran Todd Hollst will be the new host of The Eagle Morning Zoo on 95.3 and 101.1 FM, starting on January 4, 2018.

Todd has decades of radio experience in the Dayton Market, including stints at Z-93, The Edge, as a producer on the Late Afternoon Kent Voss show on WHIO-AM, and has had a number of successful behind-the-scenes positions.

Todd is devoted to the Eagle and launched the Saturday Night 80’s Request Party in the summer of 2017. Beginning in 2018, Eagle afternoon-drive personality Fred Tomlinson will become the new host of the request party.

“In the time I’ve been at The Eagle, I’ve gotten to know our listeners through events and social media and they’re just the best. They have so much passion for the music and the station overall-it’s remarkable. It became clear to me early on, this is THEIR station and I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to help the station evolve,” said Todd.

Hollst grew up in Beavercreek and now lives in Xenia. “It’s my childhood dream coming to fruition–hosting a show in my hometown playing the music I love and talking about the things our community cares about. I love Dayton–it’s my hometown,” he added.

The Eagle plays classic hits and is one of the only stations in America to play Commercial Free Weekends. “On the New Eagle Morning Zoo people can expect a focus on the music, sprinkled in with details on local events, funny stories, interviews and whatever else is relevant to our listeners. My approach is to keep it simple. Keep in listenable,” Hollst said.

Listeners can enjoy Todd on 95.3 or 101.1 FM. Find more info or listen online at
