Dayton, OH (November 15, 2017) — Dayton Children’s Radiothon is celebrating their 20th anniversary and Cox Media Group Ohio is incredibly proud to be a partner of this program, helping to raise almost $4 million dollars since the conception of the event. This annual tradition spans three days and is a celebration of a successful partnership that has given back to kids in the community for two decades.
The event DJ’s, Nancy Wilson and James “Frye Guy” Frye of K99.1FM, have partnered with famous voices like Darius Rucker and Cole Swindell to record promos encouraging donations.
“We are incredibly honored to be a part of this event for another year and to celebrate a partnership that gives so much to sick children in our community,” said Wilson.
Cox is a long-time supporter of Dayton Children’s and the Cox Foundation donated $250,000 to Children’s Hospital Tower Fund.
